After Voting

Whether the voter elected to vote in person or by mail they will experience the same After Voting events.

Once the voter's ballot is uploaded to the main DVS servers, the voter will receive an email and/or text message informing them their ballot is uploaded and counted. For a voter who votes in person, that text or email should arrive the day of voting. For a mail-in ballot that process may take longer depending on the speed and accuracy of the US Mail and how long it takes to scan and record the paper ballot.

Once the voter's ballot has been recorded the voter can then log into the DVS website, log in with their Voter ID and PIN, and be able to view their completed ballot.
